Event Recap: The Georgetowner Holiday Pop Shop 2013

On December 4, 2013, Style & Image Network partnered with Joie de Vivre to shine the spotlight on Flexflop at the Georgetowner Holiday Pop Shop. This exclusive event occurred at Tony & Joe’s, nestled in the picturesque Washington Harbour in Georgetown, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

The Georgetowner Holiday Pop Shop, sponsored by Georgetown Media Group, EagleBank, PamShops4You, and Long & Foster, brought together a host of local vendors, transforming the evening into a one-stop shopping and cocktail party extravaganza. Among the featured vendors were Ella-Rue, J. Ryan Jewelry, VirtuArte, Lynni’s Fabulous, Born in Brooklyn Skin Care, the Quilt Shop of McLean, Sheyla’s Boutique, FlexFlop, Nice Legs Wine, Stella & Dot, Style Etoile, Untucked, Evelyn Brooks Design, Ibhana, and Iris Grundler Pottery.

The event showcased fantastic products and delighted attendees with splendid catering from Sea Catch Restaurant, signature cocktails by Emperor Vodka, and delicious treats from Georgetown Cupcake. Manicures by Nail Taxi using China Glaze Cirque du Soleil colors and makeup touch-ups by Cindy Bliss of Mary Kay added to the glamour. Attendees received the latest issue of New Beauty Magazine, complimentary skin care analysis from America Laser Skin Care, and the opportunity to relax in an exclusive lounge designed by Fox Ventures LLC.

One of the standout vendors, Flexflop, offered a unique product—the first emergency folding flip flop, perfect for travel, pedicures, spa days, and respite from high heels. Born In Brooklyn Skin Care presents handmade, highly effective, and nature-based skincare products. J. Ryan Jewelry showcased handmade coastal-inspired jewelry, while The Quilt Shop of McLean specialized in memory quilts, quilt restoration, and quilt repair. Ella-Rue, a high-end women’s consignment boutique, presented a curated collection of fashionable pieces.

Lynni’s Fabulous featured a decadent crème sauce combining fresh raspberries, semi-sweet chocolate, and black raspberry liqueur, ideal for gourmet enthusiasts—VirtuArte’s handcrafted products from developing countries made for meaningful gifts with a purpose.

The Georgetowner Holiday Pop Shop was a delightful fusion of fashion, style, and philanthropy, making it a memorable evening for everyone.
